Tractor Stool
Dining, Counter & Bar Height
While working on a project in Switzerland, Craig Bassam came across a discarded tractor seat by the roadside. Struck by its natural ergonomics and the way it supported an upright posture without the need for a backrest, he reimagined the form in wood—giving rise to the Tractor Stool collection. Each stool is crafted from solid wood and hand-finished with a combination oil and sealer. No stains are used, allowing the natural character of the wood to remain fully expressed, making every piece unique. Precision-carved on a 5-axis CNC machine and constructed with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, the Tractor Stool is built for enduring strength and durability.
