CB-55 Wedge Side Chair
The Wedge Side Chair balances mid-century influence with a distinctly contemporary sensibility. Its angular silhouette is defined by rear legs set at a 70-degree angle, contrasted with the clean vertical lines of the front. The cantilevered backrest serves as a key architectural element, supported by slender wooden armrests that widen subtly at the front before tapering to a refined, minimal edge. Beneath its light, open form lies a sophisticated construction: a concealed steel support within the armrest and backrest provides the strength needed to achieve its sense of lift, balance, and visual restraint.
