The Tired Man Lounge Chair
Originally designed in 1935 by Flemming Lassen and first presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition that same year, The Tired Man is defined by its sculptural, streamlined form and embracing winged backrest. Though rooted in the aesthetics of the 1930s, the chair’s voluminous yet minimalist expression endures—remaining a celebrated icon of Danish design more than 90 years after its debut.
