Named after the Italian word for “pelt” or “leather” and inspired by the character Pelle from Vi på Saltkråkan by Astrid Lindgren, the chair pays homage to two distinct yet complementary design traditions. Its semi-circular backrest and elegantly sweeping armrests echo the understated clarity of Scandinavian classics, while the minimal structure emphasizes organic form and functionality. In contrast, the freely suspended seat—crafted from premium saddle leather with a leather-bound aluminum inlay—introduces a sleek, contemporary edge, creating a striking dialogue between warmth, precision, and material innovation.
