Brutus Stool
The Brutus Stool by BassamFellows evokes the raw, sculptural qualities of Brutalist design while introducing refinement and lightness. Designed to feel more “cut” than constructed, it appears weathered and shaped naturally over time into a single, cohesive form. Both the counter and bar stool versions reflect the muscular vernacular of the collection, with proportionally smaller seats and lower backs, while offering either a Vienna-caned seat—a nod to 1950s design—or a supple leather pad with suspension webbing for comfort. Elliptical legs complete the composition, broad from one angle yet remarkably thin from another, reminiscent of a shark’s fin.
